Fall 2022 Season - We're Back!!

The Mountain View Film Group is excited to return to screening wonderful films in Olds, Alberta!

Our group shares a passion for independent, Canadian, foreign, and documentary films and brings them to our dynamic, Central Alberta community. Most films are chosen from the Toronto Independent Film Festival (TIFF) Film Circuit.

Schedule: The films are shown monthly, from September to April. Screenings are Sunday mornings at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m.

Special Event:  We are honoured to present this movie in collaboration with the Mountain View Moccasin House Society. As well, we are pleased to have the film's director, Aaron James, in attendance at both screenings on January 15, 2023.

Story:  This Alberta-made movie, filmed in High Level, follows a 15 year-old Metis youth (Kaden Noskiye), who has inherited his father's guitar. Hearing rumours that a cantankerous local man (Corb Lund) was once a rock musician, he approaches him for guitar lessons.
